Redempto
Y. Abiso, “Diding” to his close friends, is a
manager by profession. He first joined the field of
commerce as Manager of Rural Bank of Glan in 1985.
His services to
the public began when he was elected Chairman of the
Board of Directors of Glan Water District. For five
years he also served as Director of the Board of
Socoteco ll, which gained him admiration and approval
of the people for his efficient management style.
His popularity
and acceptance by the people was proven when he was
elected Board Member in his first attempt. Despite his
being as public servant, he continues to manage the
Tapon-Padidu Multi-purpose Cooperative.
Diding, a
native of Glan, is married to Artemonia Dequiña, a
homemaker. Their marriage is blessed with three
children, Emy Grace, Meriame Joy and John Rey.
He believes
that a government unit must stand adaptable to the
constantly changing times. He advocates unity and
solidarity in the government’s pursuit for peace ad
development and he recognizes the role of cooperatives
in the upliftment of the people’s lives.
Diding draws
his strength from God and his family as he endeavors
to serve the public with honesty, dedication and
sincerity. |
