His accomplishments were not left unnoticed. Proof of this is the overwhelming mandate the people have given him as they elected him mayor for 10 years (1988 to 1998).

In 1998, he run as Board Member and as expected, won handily. It is not surprising after all when he acquired his second term as Board Member besting all the other SP candidates in the second district of the province of Sarangani.

“Popoy” to his family and friends, is a leader who stands on his principle and belief that serving people is not only an action to do but also an act of love for them.

Together with his wife Fabiana, he commits to “serve the public as long as he lives.”
